planning a wedding, where do you start?
ok, i have a budget of $5000 but i can go over but i don't want to spend to much (this includes the reception), ill be inviting around 70 people so it not to big. I do have a few questions
1- do celebrants decorate? eg- table chairs, arch ETC?
2- Garden weddings, how do i find out how to use it?
3- where do i start!!!!!?
How do you plan a wedding and keep it to a tight budget?
all advise would be great, even to hear about your wedding day, so i can have some tips

All i can say is, if you want to save on costs: have a morning wedding with breakfast, you will not have to pay for strong drinks (juice and coffe comes with breakfast), entertainment, Disc jockey ect. i planned on having my ceremony at 9am, breakfast at 10h30 and everyone will be gone by 13h00. you will not have to spend lots on money flowers and all the other trimmings a afternoon or morning wedding will cost!
Design your own invites, have a it printed locally and paste on pretty paper, place all you and your hubby to be's favourite music on CD's and have one of the fa,mily members change it every now and again...
For a morning wedding you can keep your dress simple, as well as everythings else...
It will be fresh and classy!!
A pastel colour will be nice or silver and white!!

p.s rather have something simple and elegant, a good photographer, good food and go on honeymoon... or break away for two days...
dont spend loads on rings... those are just symbols...
